The Texarkana Area Group was formed by a number of very enthusiastic parents living in the Four States Area who wished to bring the programs and services of RRVDSS to their region. The group meets monthly (with some exceptions) at Opportunities, Inc. located at 6101 North Stateline in Texarkana, Texas. Along with these informational meetings and workshops, they also hold fundraiser and awareness events such as their annual golf tournament and their very own Buddy Walk and social events.

Join the Texarkana Chapter of RRVDSS for a fun afternoon of darts and Down syndrome awareness! The event will be held at the Elks Lodge at 3702 New Boston Road in Texarkana, Texas. There is a $15 admission charge which includes meal and door prizes. Tournament entry fee is only $5. Silent auction begins at 1 pm.
