The Red River Valley Down Syndrome Society hosts an annual conference for parents, educators and healthcare professionals that will feature not only local but also regional speakers. The intent is to provide seminars on overall health and specific medical concerns of Down syndrome, workshops on behavioral and social issues, workshops on education concerns and resources, and presentations on the many resources and training available to parents and those interested in helping individuals with Down syndrome.

Education Stipends for MembersMany national, regional and state organizations offer workshops and conferences throughout the year that benefit our members through continued education. The organization works to notify our membership of their existence. RRVDSS will continue to offer stipends to those members who demonstrate a strong interest and involvement in the organization by attendance and volunteering throughout the year.
