Why Walk With Us?
The Buddy Walk was established by the National Down Syndrome Society in 2995 to celebrate Down syndrome Awareness Month in October. The Buddy Walk is meant to promote acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome. The Red River Valley Down Syndrome Society utilizes the annual event to raise funds locally to fund its many programs and servies available to its members.
